SAG Milling
The large grinding ball diameter of SAG mill is 100mm--160mm, which is a special wear-resistant ball for SAG mill. Main features: high hardness, no crushing, abrasion resistance, no out of round. In cement plant, mine, power plant, chemical industry and other industries, the application effect is very good. The overall hardness is high, the surface hardness can reach 55-65 HRC, the volume hardness can reach 50-63HRC, and the hardness gradient distribution is uniform. The impact toughness of forging grinding ball is higher than 12j / cm2. The crushing rate is low, the anti crushing rate is more than three times of that of the general Cast grinding ball, the number of ball drop impact is more than 20000 times, and the actual crushing rate is not higher than 1%. No deformation, no deformation and no out of round of steel ball from beginning to end.
Raw material: forging ball, the raw material directly determines the quality of forging steel ball. The raw material of Haoyang is the high-quality round steel of large-scale steel plant, with stable chemical composition. Good steel is the basis of good steel ball.
2. The characteristics of forged and hot rolled steel balls are as follows:
(1) Smooth surface: it is produced by forging process. The surface is free of defects, deformation and out of round, and the excellent grinding effect is maintained.
(2) Tight inside: it is forged from round steel, which avoids defects caused by process in the as cast state. It has large internal density and high precision particle size, enhances the drop resistance and impact toughness of the ball, thus reducing the crushing rate of the ball.
(3) Both dry and wet grinding: due to the use of high-quality alloy steel and new high-efficiency anti-wear materials independently developed by our company, the alloy elements are reasonably proportioned and rare elements are added to control the content of chromium, so that its corrosion resistance is greatly improved. In view of the fact that most mines are wet grinding, this steel ball is more suitable for its working conditions.
3. If the semi autogenous mill is used, the ball with a diameter of 100-150 mm can not only reduce the unit consumption, but also increase the processing capacity. However, due to the defects of the casting process, the breaking rate of the ball is much higher than that of the forging ball.
V. wear -resistance comparison:
(1) Different genes: forged ball material is high quality steel, while cast ball material is scrap iron;
(2) The surface of casting ball has pouring mouth, sand hole and ring belt, while the surface of forging ball is smooth; the surface quality seriously affects the deformation of ball in the grinding process. Because the surface quality of forging ball is better than that of casting ball, it is not easy to deform in the use process.
(3) The impact toughness of forging ball is greater than 12, but the casting ball is only 3-6, which determines that the breaking rate of forging ball is better than that of casting ball
(4) The casting ball is suitable for the mill with a diameter of 1.5-3.8m, while the forging ball is suitable for the mill with a diameter of 1.5-11m and above.
(5) Casting ball is only suitable for dry grinding, while forging ball is inherently corrosion-resistant due to its good gene - high-quality steel, so both dry grinding and wet grinding are suitable.
