Jinan Haoyang Launches Employee Skills Enhancement Program: Invests 2 Million in Three Years to Cultivate Hundreds of “Artisan Star Technicians”
On April 15, 2025, Jinan Haoyang Casting & Forging Co. Ltd. announced today that its “Artisan Star Program” for frontline skilled workers has reached its first anniversary. The program covers core positions such as forging, heat treatment, and quality inspection, and aims to achieve “common growth between employees and the company” through systematic training and welfare upgrades.
Three core initiatives
1. Skill Certification Subsidies
- cooperated with Jinan Vocational College to develop “Standardized Course on Wear-resistant Steel Ball Processing”. Workers who pass the examination can obtain the nationally accredited “Intermediate/Advanced Forging Worker Certificates”, and enjoy a monthly skill allowance of RMB 100-300.
- Data: 20 employees have been certified, and the average salary has increased by 18%.
2. Health protection upgrade
- Workshop renovation: invested 500,000 RMB to add fresh air system for high temperature operation area, real-time monitoring of temperature and dust data.
- Optimization of physical examination: Noise deafness screening and musculoskeletal disease assessment were added, and the coverage rate of annual physical examination was 100%.
- Mental health: Opened a 24-hour psychological counseling hotline, with a cumulative service of 63 times.
3. Career Development Path
- Established “Artisan Star - Team Leader - Workshop Director” promotion path, with a total of 8 workers promoted to management positions in 2023.
